Rates
The Writers' Refuge is available only by the calendar week (Sunday through
Saturday). If you're staying one week, check-in is at 3 p.m. Sunday and
check-out is at noon on Saturday. The cost is $400 per week, single occupancy.
If you're staying longer, check-in is at 3 p.m. Sunday and check-out is at
noon on your final Saturday. When you stay for longer periods, the Saturday nights
between weeks are
free.
Because the Refuge isn't available to tourists, we don't raise our rates during tourist season. Our prices are consistent
throughout the year.

Policies
- We do not allow smoking in the cabin OR on the grounds.
- We don't allow pets.
- Guaranteed quiet hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on weekdays
during the school year. Others can be arranged by agreement—as long as they do not place
undue hardship on your hosts.
- The Refuge is available to writers and other creatives who need to get
away and focus on a project. It is not available to the general public.
- Because writing is a solitary activity (and because the cabin is small), we do not offer double
occupancy.
